Hello I am Javon

As a child, I had no idea that I was living with a hearing loss because I thought everybody could hear the same. It wasn't until I was seven years old and struggling in school that I found out I had a mild hearing loss. Eventually, my hearing loss progressed to a moderate level and my education

But challenges only made me more determined to succeed.

Where was I Born & raised ?

I was born and raised in California, bouncing back and forth between Compton, Long Beach, Oceanside, and Vista. Now, a resident in Oklahoma.

Despite the difficulties I faced, I found comfort in my love of movies, travel, and spending time with family. It was during this time that I discovered my passion for creating a clothing brand that could connect with others like me, something that spoke to our shared experiences.

As I delved deeper into the deaf world, I came to realize that American Sign Language, being deaf, and being hard of hearing had come a long way since the late 90s. What was once a foreign concept was now becoming more widely accepted. People started to ask me how I coped with being hard of hearing and even began signing to me.

Looking back, I am proud of my journey, and I am excited for what the future holds. I hope to continue to make a difference in the lives of those who, like me, have struggled with having a disability, a ability or a para~ abilities. I am Hard of Hearing

The road to where I am today has been far from easy, but it has been an incredible journey filled with many lessons and experiences that have shaped me into the person I am today. Through my struggles, I have learned the importance of determination, perseverance, and resilience, and I am grateful for the opportunities that have come my way.
